Ethiopian Deposit Insurance Fund records 2.6 billion birr in Q1 premiums
The Ethiopian Deposit Insurance Fund collected 2.61 billion birr in annual premiums during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, a 25.48 percent increase from the same period last year. The state-owned Commercial Bank of Ethiopia drove nearly half of the collections, bringing the fund's total accumulated premiums to 26.03 billion birr.
