Parents of software engineer sue OpenAI over ChatGPT medical advice
The parents of a 31-year-old Amazon software engineer have filed a lawsuit against OpenAI after she reduced her epilepsy medication following advice from ChatGPT and subsequently died. The company expressed condolences and stated that the model in question has been withdrawn.
